Anastasia K. Stoyanova (or simply, Sia) is a storyteller and poet born in Bulgaria, raised in Greece and currently based in Berlin by way of Edinburgh. Her work incorporates an ever-evolving collection of influences – trained as an economist, employed as a product leader in the field of Climate Technology and keenly interested in philosophy, music and mysticism, she adopts non-materialist perspectives in a bid to integrate multidimensional being.
Underlying themes in her work explore topics of freedom, feminism, shifting temporalities, the ineffable and the unseen. Her approach and process mirror her deeply rooted sentimentalism, as well as her dedication to practices weaving the mind, the body and the emotions into an entity experiencing a constant state of transition.
She is currently working on her first novel.
