Sia Portraits_19Anastasia K. Stoyanova (or simply, Sia) is a storyteller and poet born in Bulgaria, raised in Greece and currently based in Berlin by way of Edinburgh. Her work is driven by an ever-evolving flux of influences – trained as an economist, employed as a product leader in the field of Climate Technology and keenly interested in philosophy, music and mysticism, she adopts non-materialist perspectives in a bid to integrate multidimensional being. The crux of it seems to lie in the distribution of, and our sensitivity to, forces operating beyond the realms accessible by discursive reasoning.

Concerned with the state and direction of the human collective, she is currently investigating topics of freedom, feminism, shifting temporalities and the psychic realms. Her approach and process mirror her deeply rooted sentimentalism, as well as her dedication to practices weaving the mind, body and the emotions into a fluid entity experiencing a constant state of transition.
